This project focuses on the reinterpretation of a common kitchen tool with an emphasis on user comfort. The objective was to create an object with a clearly defined function, where aesthetics are directly derived from practical usage requirements. It represents a new form of citrus juicer utilizing a functional relief around its entire circumference. The juicer is designed to be manufactured from injection-molded plastic, ensuring it is lightweight, durable, and highly functional.
Technical Solution & Ergonomics: The spiral relief around the juicer’s body serves a vital functional role. This feature serves as an active juicing element while significantly improving the overall ergonomics of the grip. This geometry significantly increases grip and control during twisting, prevents slipping, and makes the juicing process more efficient and stable.
