This design work presents an innovative machining center concept for Tajmac-ZPS, a company dedicated to producing high-performance machining centers, Swiss-type automatics, and multi-spindle automatics. The foundation of the design is a U-shaped portal machining center that combines compact dimensions with modern ergonomics.


Compact Power & Efficiency: With overall dimensions of 1700 x 2700 x 3000 mm, the machining center offers a working envelope of approximately 1000 x 500 x 500 mm. This configuration was designed for maximum flexibility and production efficiency while minimizing the floor space footprint in industrial facilities. The design emphasizes easy access to the working area and a logical arrangement of control elements.


Synergy of Technology and Form: The overall design merges modern technological elements with high functionality. The machine housing is engineered with a focus on workplace safety, reliability, and precision—core values of Tajmac-ZPS. The two presented concepts explore different approaches to visual segmentation and service module integration while maintaining a unified technological foundation.
